This 2004 project utilized the sustainable building method of straw bale insulation in conjunction with a traditional timber frame build. We custom milled the white pine timbers and black cherry knee braces which were harvested on the property and nearby. The upper-level studio is a fantastic location for yoga classes and the occasional visitor. The lower level houses the fully equipped Green Timber Works wood shop where all of our timber frames are crafted.
